Today’s winter themed, snow covered styled shoot is just what we need to get into the holiday spirit. There is just something about snow that takes the romance factor and skyrockets it up the scale. Add in a fur shawl and a dapper groom and BOOM, winter wedding bliss! The shoot included beautiful greenery to capture the essence of the winter season. In addition to the greenery, snow colored roses were tied into the flower arrangements.
Lets not forget the location that this shoot took place! The barn provides a great rustic vibe for any winter wonderland wedding. It also acts as a wonderful scenery for wedding or engagement photos. Erin Johnson did a fabulous job capturing the details of the models as well as the holiday landscape. The addition of the snow shoes added an extra touch winter warmth into the photographs. If you are lucky enough to have a snow storm before your big day, think of it as a blessing in disguise! The snow in these photos make the overall vibe much more romantic.
In addition to the winter scenery and snow, the calligrapher, Rosann Konieczny, did not hold back on the continuation of incorporating the holiday season into her work. Rosann kept her invitations neat and clean by using a black and white color palate. She also included a crisp green leaf in the design of the invitations to go along with the theme. She took her work one step further and added the same design and color palate into the seating arrangement cards.
This styled shoot included all aspects of a dream winter wonderland wedding! The snow, the scenery, the attire, and the florals, all fit this wonderful holiday, winter theme. Skip the traditional spring and summer weddings ladies, have a winter wedding but, don’t forget to pray for snow!
