San Francisco Elopement

Big cities have always been a favorite of mine! The fast pace and loud businesses, the perfectly imperfect streets, cable cars, bridges and an array of grays on the buildings and sidewalks. All of this and more inspired the vision of a romantic wedding styled shoot. I wanted to portray the city’s beauty, even in the midst of chaos and a busy life. Along with an exceptional team, I embarked to create the romantic city escapade in the beautiful San Francisco. It was early morning at the waterfront bridal suit of the San Francisco Marriott where Jessica, the stunning bride, spent her morning enjoying breakfast on a flower bed, with coffee in her hand and daydreaming about the adventure of her life in becoming a married woman. Styled with the perfect touch of elegant 1930’s charm and dressed in a stunning Badgley Mischka Couture gown and a pair of Manolo Blahnik heels, she headed to meet her groom at the hundred-year-old city monument, the San Francisco City Hall. This journey was a dream come true! I had always wanted to walk the hallways of the city’s Beaux-Arts architectural staple. And there we were in a room full of love, surrounded by a couple sharing their vows. High ceilings and columns, soft warm lights, and the magnificent marble staircase. Can you picture it? I was in awe of the sights. As the night came to an end, the couple made their way through the Golden Gate bridge taking them to the other side to overlook the city with a sunset toast. Overcome with serenity and romance, they held onto one another in an embrace and ended the night under the stars, admiring the city lights.
