Are you ready to see love take flight? Joanna and Jim one large wedding filled with fun surprises for their guests. Although their ceremony was a full traditional Catholic Mass service, their reception was anything but traditional. They had around 230 people attend their wedding at the Church of the Good Shepherd. After the ceremony the party got started at the Hiller Aviation Museum.
While Jim and Joanna finished taking post-ceremony photos (with an actual plane!), guests got to walk through and enjoy the museum during cocktail hour. The reception was in another room off the main part of the museum with a large black and white dance floor and stage for the band. Several surprises happened throughout the night: the brothers gave the Best Man speech, along with a slideshow, and to top it off the bride had planned a choreographed dance with her dad for the Father Daughter dance all while a surprise band showed up to play. Everyone was shocked.
Joana said this about her wedding “We felt that we threw the party of the year with the location, great food, and amazing band, everyone talked about it for months after! The Wedding was a good representation of the type of people my husband and I are. We invited everyone and had fun!” We couldn’t agree more, that these two had a wonderful and fun-filled wedding day!
