Everything about today’s featured wedding is a well-crafted masterpiece. Erin and Corky wanted to have a big, happy affair filled with their nearest and dearest. They both have big families and friends from all over, and it was most important that they all be included. From day one, both were on the same page that they wanted this to be a big party!
Her beaded dress was a work of art. The moment her mother zipped it up there was a long silent pause as together they took in that incredibly special moment before turning to each other for a long heartfelt embrace. The bridesmaids dresses were J.Crew in dusty shale and they all carried stunning bouquets of blooms of pink and creams. They were wed at the historic St. Cecelia Catholic Church in St. Louis by her father’s childhood friend. Their reception took place in one of the most elegant venues in Saint Louis – the Saint Louis Art Museum. They threw in a lot of fun extras, like Mad Libs on the back of the menus, an energetic band and Jenga pieces as a guestbook to add an element of fun to break it up a bit. I think they struck exactly what they were going for – the energy was lively and fun, while still being formal, sophisticated and ever so creative.
