Chelsea + Clay || Southern Elegance

Chelsea and Clay are slow movers, in true southern style. Not only did they know each other for a few years before they actually started dating, but they also dated for 6 (!) years before getting engaged over Christmas in Hawaii. Since they met in the summer, Chelsea envisioned having a wedding during that time of year and prolonged their engagement to a year and a half to get it right.
From the bride:
We knew we wanted our wedding day to be very southern and elegant, so when we visited the First United Methodist Church and The Signature Club I knew right away that both venues suited our vision perfectly. The Signature Club was actually one of the last reception venues that we toured, but I immediately fell in love and everything started to fall into place after that.
This sweet couple stayed true to their roots. Chelsea wanted to keep it traditional and make it all about their friends and family so she kept the theme neutral with golds and blushes. A day mixed with rain and sunshine, bourbon, laughter and love, it was a Kentucky’s finest wedding with an unforgettable couple.
