Soft pink hues and beautiful flower girls are two of our favorite things and today’s stunning #bnbfeature has both. Even more than that though, LOVE is what a marriage is all about. Love for your soon to be, love for your new family, and love for everyone in attendance watching you take the next step into marriage. Amanda & Patrick were missing someone special at their wedding but made sure that she with with her, even from afar. Enjoy.
Amanda: As a little girl I dreamt of my mother saying “yes to the dress” and helping me get ready before I said “I do”. Her loss and my ache for her were never more apparent to me than going through the wedding planning process without her. And although she is no longer physically with me, it was important to me that she be a part of this very important milestone. So I found meaningful ways to celebrate her and carry her in my heart each step of the way. The heart mirror that she bought for me was there while getting ready, a charm with my favorite photo was attached to my bouquet as I walked down the aisle, and a hidden heart was incorporated into the design of the wedding cake. As is tradition for our family on big events, we released heart balloons in loving memory of her at St. Rose Church. As we let go, we noticed that one of the balloons came back down and lingered by the tree. This was a special reminder to me that she was smiling down upon us full of joy and pride.
